“I colori del Distretto”

ORGOGLIO PORTA VENEZIA is the first event in Milan for the defense of LGBTQQIA+ rights promoted by the Porta Venezia Milan Rainbow District Traders Association.

The objective of protect, promote and support the free initiative of entrepreneurs by triggering virtuous circles to strengthen the vision of rebirth and redevelopment of the neighborhood and unite local communities to generate belonging.

During Pride Month, from 8 June to 8 July 2023, ORGOGLIO PORTA VENEZIA took place, an inclusive and participatory event, with a calendar full of initiatives.

The widespread opening party powered by Absolut which involved the entire Porta Venezia area colored by hundreds of rainbow flags created with the support of MTV Pride, Official Media Partner of the initiative, simultaneously activating venues, bars, restaurants and shops as protagonists of the Porta Venezia Rainbow District Traders Association.

Among the events, two sporting and non-competitive moments, open to the public: the Run Like a Unicorn collective race between inflatables and sequins and the Rainbow Beach Volleyball in the Indro Montanelli Public Gardens.

The connection with the world of culture is fundamental, from this assumption, the alliance with the Mix Festival and Gender Border Film Festival was born

which has a selection of films and documentaries from all over the world, accompanied by talks and meetings.
